After months of anticipation, the time is here. The world’s foremost climate conference is kicking off in Dubai.
COP28 brings together world leaders, businesses, organizations, community decision-makers, academics, and activists for nearly two weeks of discussions centered around climate action in an effort to achieve our global community’s shared climate goals.
However, with an oil and gas corporate executive in the driver’s seat, many in the global community are concerned regarding the validity of this year’s COP proceedings– and rightfully so. As the world deals with a new era of climate disruption and chaos, the need for ambitious, innovative climate solutions has never been greater.
Climate solutions are a key focus of We Don’t Have Time’s latest broadcast series. We Don’t Have Time, a social network for everyone who wants to be a part of the solution to the climate crisis, is hosting a series of live broadcasts from December 1st through December 11th focused on highlighting a broad spectrum of climate solutions.
The Swedish social network will be broadcasting from COP28 in Dubai and from their studio in Stockholm. The COP28 Climate Hub is organized by We Don’t Have Time in collaboration with the UN Development Programme, Exponential Roadmap Initiative, the Race to Zero, the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty, and more.
Hosting the climate-focused broadcasts are We Don’t Have Time’s Ingmar Rentzhog, Dr. Sweta Chakraborty, Catarina Rolfsdotter-Jansson, Andreas Magnusson, and Nick Nuttall.
Event attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a myriad of leading changemakers and solutionists about the various actionable solutions available to tackle the climate emergency. As with past summits, attendees will be able to interact through the app throughout the event. Attendees can submit questions for the speakers as well as share comments and ideas.
